Until the orginal rocks beign been placed at the 17 September 1860 by His Royal Highness Prince Alfred, and see the important role that convinct labour had to play during the building of the first harbour in Table Bay as a safe place to anchor ship along the coast.

To the expansion of the basins during the Gold rush of South Africa and the first forcable removals that happened at the Cape.

Until the trade sactions been placed against South Africa during the years of Apartheid to the building of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront as the most visited area in South Africa today.
