Passport and Visa Requirements

Please note that some passports do require visas to enter Lesotho. This is the guests responsibility to check before joining the tour.

If you join the tour and are denied entry into Lesotho due to not having the required visa or valid passport, you will need to wait at the South African Border Post either until the tours returns, or a transfer at your own expense is available. No refund will be provided. Please note no expired passports or copies of passports will be accepted.

Additional Fees

If you would like us to pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation either within the town of Underberg or Himeville or directly on our route to the Sani Pass there will be no additional charges. However, if your accommodation falls outside of the above and you would still like to be picked up then additional fees may apply. These extra charges will need to be payable either in cash or by card on the day of your tour. Please contact us at the time of your booking and we will provide detailed information about these charges should your accommodation fall outside of our pick up zones.

Lunch Options

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, we offer several lunch options during our tour.

1. Lunch at the Highest Pub in Africa

Due to the lodges limited capacity, The Highest Pub in Africa are only able to welcome our guests for lunch with prior reservations. Please note that entry is granted only to guests that will be dining with them. Unfortunately due to their limited seating, the pub is unable to accommodate guests who wish solely to have a drink, use the Wi-Fi, or restrooms.

* Menu Options: Toasted sandwiches, burgers, wraps, pizzas, pastas, and more
* Price Range: R100 - R250
* Buffet (If Applicable): R220 per adult, R110 for children under 12 (free for children under 3)

Kindly note:
In certain events due to full capacity the restaurant may choose to do a buffet style menu for guests.
Although we do our best to secure reservations in advance, availability at the restaurant cannot always be guaranteed.

2. Enjoy an authentic experience at a Local Basotho Restaurant

* Menu Options: Toasted sandwiches, burgers, fish and chips, hearty stews, and more.
* Price Range: R40 - R130
* Maluti beer is also available.

3. Bring Your Own
Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks to enjoy in the vehicle while on the tour.

4. No Lunch Needed
If you prefer not to eat whether for personal or religious reasons that is absolutely fine too.

When making a booking it is essential to selection an option from the above in order for us to make the necessary arrangements in advance, to make your experience enjoyable and seamless.

Cancellation Policy

* 50% Cancellation Fee: Applicable if you cancel more than 14 days before the tour date.

* 100% Cancellation Fee: Charged for cancellations made within 14 days of the tour date.

In the Event of Snow:

If it is uncertain whether or not we will reach the top of Sani Pass we will offer you the following options:

1. Proceed with the tour regardless of how far we can travel, based on safety and snow conditions. No refund will be provided in this case.

2. Reschedule your tour to a later date. No refund will be issued.

* If the Pass is closed by border officials before the tour departure time, you may choose either a 95% refund (5% charged for admin fees) or a rescheduled tour date.

Indemnity Notice

While we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, we want to clarify our liability coverage. Wild 4×4 Tours has full passenger and public liability insurance, which covers any accidents or injuries that may occur while inside our vehicles during the tour.

However, we are not responsible for any injuries that happen outside of our vehicles. This includes, but is not limited to, any slips, falls, or other injuries you may sustain while exploring, walking, or participating in activities outside the vehicle during the tour. Additionally, we cannot be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings during the tour.
