Guests are guided on foot through The Elephant Sanctuary.
Guides will provide in-depth information and insight into African elephants. You will be introduced to our elephants in the forest area, and here you will be able to touch and interact with the elephants. You will see the special relationship that the elephant handlers share with their elephants and become a part of it. Walk amongst our elephants in the bush and see the Elephant Night Shelters. Guests learn about elephant anatomy and are able to feed them.
Remember to wear flat walking shoes, sun hats and bring your camera.

We attended as a couple on on 14.02.25 The experience far exceeded our expectations. The elephants are at the sanctuary as a result of an elephant culling on Kruger The guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and enthusiastic, answering all our questions even down to the biology of the elephants, he made our visit enthralling. The elephants were just amazing, they knew exactly what we were excited to do and when. It was an amazing experience and we enjoyed it thoroughly. I have known the sanctuary since 2000 when I was working as a tourist guide. I only miss the restaurant where one could sit and watch the elephants - it was special. Thank you so much. My father has passed away recently and this was an excellent outing for my mom and me.
