Activity Description

Children under 4 are welcome and free of charge.

Guests are guided on foot through The Elephant Sanctuary. Guides will provide in-depth information and insight into African elephants. You will be introduced to our elephants in the forest area, and here you will be able to touch and interact with the elephants. You will see the special relationship that the elephant handlers share with their elephants and become a part of it. Walk amongst our elephants in the bush. See the Elephant Night Shelters. Guests learn about elephant anatomy and are able to feed them. Remember to wear flat walking shoes, sun hats and bring your camera.

Our elephant adventure was an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this as a must see destination. Learned valuable information regarding elephants, was able to feed and touch them. We had our first Elephant Encounter a couple of years ago & loved it so much that we wanted our children to have an encounter & they absolutely loved it. Our only disappointment was that we didnt have the same full experience, previously we were able to do an Elephant ride, walk, and brush down the elephants wheras this time round we just fed them, looked at where they slept, took photos next to them. - CARLA

We found the experience very educational and getting to meet the caretakers was really great. Seems the elephants were very happy. It was interesting to learn about the elephants habits and to see their mannerisms up close and personal. Super fun. Thanks - Warren
