Guests are guided on foot through The Elephant Sanctuary. Guides will provide in-depth information and insight into African elephants. You will be introduced to our elephants in the forest area, and here you will be able to touch and interact with the elephants. You will see the special relationship that the elephant handlers share with their elephants and become a part of it. Walk amongst our elephants in the bush. See the Elephant Night Shelters. Guests learn about elephant anatomy and are able to feed them. Remember to wear flat walking shoes, sun hats and bring your camera.

Wow, what an absolutely amazing morning we had on elephant interaction experience. We got to feed an elephant, learn all about them from our brilliant guide, get up close to them, and even get kissed by one of them, and then walk with them too. The staff also take lots of photos on your phone for you whilst you are interacting with them. The sanctuary is a lovely place and the staff are fantastic. Definitely one of the highlights of our holiday in South Africa. - Stuart
What an experience with friendly and well-informed staff. The animals were well looked at and it was just amazing to be so close up with them. One suggestion would be to keep the language interpreters not in die middle of the group as it is very disturbing to try and hear what the guides are saying. Otherwise, a GREAT experience, will definitely do it again. - Jakes
