I had a truly spectacular experience meeting all the wonderful rescued elephants at Elephant Whispers in Hazyview during my South Africa road trip and would highly recommend the experience to anyone visiting the area who wants an up close and personal experience with these majestic creatures and their kind and compassionate caretakers! I even had the opportunity to fulfill my childhood dream of riding an elephant named Lindiwe who was such a sweetheart and it was very reassuring to connect with the elephant handlers, who all have a tremendous amount of respect for the elephants and treat them only with kindness and positive reinforcement.
